Rules of procedure and rental conditions for our guests rooms

These rules are for the use of Way Om guests rooms at Skolia Vrisi, Papadogiannis, 70400 Diskos/Lentas, Crete

In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, please read these regulations carefully and agree to comply with them. Our guests rooms is not a hotel or a public place. It is indeed a private place where we live as a family. The public cannot therefore access it freely. We look forward to welcoming you to our guest house so that you can enjoy the place and our hospitality during your vacation. Enjoy the calm and tranquility of the garden and the common terraces at your disposal while respecting everyone's privacy.


All our rooms have been decorated and prepared with care to allow each guest to feel good there. We invite you to keep the premises in good condition. Report any problem or damage observed upon your arrival. Anything damaged will be subject to financial compensation by yourselves. The rooms are carefully prepared before your arrival. During a long stay (more than a week) cleaning and linen change is done once a week. It is traditional for the bed to be made by the residents and their belongings put away. The towels provided in your rooms are for use only. In-room meals are not provided. Regarding valuables (jewellery, multimedia devices, various means of payment, etc.), the owners of Way Om decline all responsibility in the event of the disappearance of these objects.



For reasons of hygiene and tranquility of the guests, no pets are allowed in our rooms (unless previously agreed).



The entire establishment, including the rooms, is non-smoking. It is of course possible to smoke (including electronic cigarettes) outside, but out of respect for the premises and because of the significant risk of fire starting, we ask smokers to use the ashtrays made available to them. The customer undertakes to return the room in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare, and assume financially, any possible deterioration for which he may be responsible.


We share our kitchen with you and you can access it from 8:30 am to 9 pm. We are vegetarians, therefor we thank you for respecting that and not cooking meat there.

Theft and accidents: the owners decline all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily injury occurring in the property.


Unguarded parking is available for our guests inside Way Om (one car/room).


The owners of Way Om are sensitive to safeguarding our planet and contributing to the protection of the environment. Water is a real problem that Crete has to face and will have to solve in the coming years. Little rainfall in general, water-intensive crops (agriculture consumes 85% of the island's freshwater reserves), little crop diversity, little vegetation on certain southern slopes in particular, significant tourism, management of poorly reflected water in the medium and long term, jeopardize natural water reserves (groundwater) each year a little more. Simple, non-binding measures can do a lot. We are therefore counting on your collaboration to: avoid leaving lights on unnecessarily, do not let the water run (when brushing your teeth or washing your hands) and moderate the flow during showers, turn off the air conditioner when the windows are open or you leave your room. If you leave the air conditioning on during your absence, we will allow ourselves to charge you an additional €5 per day.


Sanitation is provided by a septic tank system; to avoid the clogging of the sewers and the resulting inconveniences, we ask that you please do not throw ANYTHING in the toilets, including toilet paper ; a trash can is provided for this purpose.

Waste : Please leave your waste in a plastic bag in front of your room door or sheltered from the wind. We take care of collecting it. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.​
